Final Thesis: Sunday Road
For my capstone I created, Sunday Road. Sunday Road is a non-alcoholic seltzer, created to fill the need for a safe haven of inclusivity within the adult beverage world, while offering up a tasty and versatile alternative. You can drink a Sunday Road to wind down after a hectic day at work or to calm your nerves about running into an ex-boyfriend at your local bar, the opportunities are endless. We aim to see and change the world through our audiences’ eyes and experiences, rather than our own. I wanted to open the conversation of non-alcoholic beverages in a positive light, removing the awkwardness and social stigma placed around them. Sunday Road is a project that is near and dear to my heart, being in the works for nine months. I started the design process for Sunday Road in January, with the Fall 2023 semester focusing on researching, survey conducting, interviewing and the writing portion of Capstone. In the spring semester leading up to my graduation, I created a logo, brand style guide, four designed cans, an interactive website where consumers can learn about the company and purchase a pack online, an eight-can packaging box, as well as print marketing material to make my product come to life.
