Hi, I'm Tess!
I am a Graphic Designer based in Massachusetts, and a recent graduate with her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Endicott College in Beverly, MA. In my spare time, I love listening to music, lounging at the beach, visiting art museums, traveling, and spending time with friends & family.
Since I was a little girl, all I could ever imagine myself doing was a profession associated with art. Growing up as the youngest following two athletic-leaning brothers, I wanted to have something all to myself. Ultimately, this led me to a deep-rooted passion and pure appreciation for the arts. Through arts & crafts specialized camp as a child, pottery classes outside of school for years, and every art course I could take in middle school and high school, and even opting to design the yearbook during my senior year of high school during my free period, I was hooked on the freedom of design.
This enduring love for art in itself, the magic of creativity, and keen observation of the natural and artistic world around me have carved me into the artist and graphic designer that I am today. My deep interest and dedication to the arts are rooted in my constant need to understand and communicate with others in new ways. Art serves as a personal escape in my life and allows me to connect with those around me unconventionally.
I seek to create an intentional dialogue between clients and their current and potential consumer base. I welcome and emphasize authenticity, passion, and boldness in my work and carry those values into my personal life. I like to challenge pre-existing ideas and make people stop and think about the world. I enjoy transforming and adding pizzazz to the mundane things in our lives, things that aren’t traditionally considered art.
Most importantly, I believe art is for everyone and a continuous part of our lives.
Although I do have a few years of experience under my belt, I have so much to learn from the brilliant designers in my life (and from those I haven't crossed paths with, just yet). I chase opportunities to expand my knowledge and experience, by collaborating and learning from skilled professionals, as well as engaging and communicating with clients. I take pride in my ability to embrace challenges on both a professional and personal level.
